I don’t want to suggest that anti depressants are handed out like sweets but generally, prescribing medication to treat mental illness is the first action taken by the NHS.  However, not everyone is keen to take them and I know of people who have left their prescription in a drawer for many days, weeks and even months.  At the time, I personally was desperate to try anything so didnt have any concerns about taking them.  However, my partner at the time was very negative about me taking them and was already convinced I would become addicted.

I will continue to expand on this but for now, I’m taking things 1 step at a time.  But in the meantime, if you have any points you would like to put forward or contribute I would love to hear from you so please do get in touch.
