Meditation

Why not get crafty and make yourself a meditation Jar.  All you need is an old jar, some glitter and water.  Then if you want to make it look pretty some ribbon or stickers.  The glitter in the jar is what is important.

The jar will represent your mind, the glitter will be your thoughts.

Shake the jar and notice that your ‘thoughts’ fly around and around.

As your thoughts are flying, take deep breaths in and out.  You will start to notice that your thoughts, like those in the jar begin to slowdown.  Keep taking the deep breaths in and then out until the glitter settles.

The glitter, like your thoughts is still there, but they have calmed right down.
