Supporting a loved one through mental illness could be almost be as tough as suffering with the illness itself. It can put a strain on any relationship, no matter how strong and may lead to your own issues with the illness.
What do you say? What shouldn’t you say?
How can you help when that very person can’t communicate how they feel? It isn’t because they don’t want to, it’s because often they don’t know how and don’t understand it themselves.
I hope to develop help and information for you and would welcome your thoughts and comments.
