WOW List or Mood Board

Why chance the mood you wake up in each day?

Why should there ever be a wrong side of the bed to get out of?

A great way to direct your sleep, your dreams, how you wake up each morning and your day ahead can be as simple as writing a WOW list.

On an index card or sheet of paper write the heading ‘Morning’ and then write down 3 or 4 exciting things that have been WOW about your life.  The morning list should be things that are funny or exciting that you have experienced.

On the other side of the paper write the heading ‘Night’ and write down 3 or 4 things that have been WOW when you have felt happy, loved and valued.

Every night just before you go to sleep, read your ‘WOW Night List’ and relive all the feelings; see what you saw, hear what you heard and feel what you felt when you were there, fully associating with the memories.  By focusing on these fantastic edited highlights of your life, you will be filling your brain with happy thoughts that will colour your dreams.

When you wake up, read your ‘WOW Morning List’.  Relive all those feelings; fully associating with those memories and absorbing those feelings.

A WOW List is brief and to the point and should be updated every couple of months.  It can encourage a good nights sleep and a positive start for the day ahead.
